I'm really feeling these chunky knits right now. This one from f21 is sooo soft & cozy. It's the perfect sweater for the changing of the seasons. The knit keeps me nice and warm and the short sleeves keep me nice and cool...genius.

off the beaten path

The bf and I took advantage of the beautiful weather we were having on Saturday and went on a hike. I really love hiking because it's a great way to workout with a nice change of scenery- I don't know about you but working out and staring at the same thing the whole time makes me so unmotivated! I love the fresh air and being surrounded by nature, it's a great way to clear your head. I especially love the panoramic views of the ocean... absolutely breathtaking! *Sorry in advance for the amount of pictures- it was all so beautiful, I had to capture everything!

j'taime chanel

There's nothing like taking a leisurely trip over to a thrift store and finding a vintage Chanel handbag.  NOTHING. I have been quite lucky with my findings- so much that a couple years ago I started to collect vintage Chanel pieces from random thrift shops. My collection has grown quite a bit, but my heart still flutters when I find a new piece! 

This little beauty is one of my most recent finds. The taupe quilted leather is extremely soft! I was delighted to find that the inside was in pristine condition: no rips, no ink stains, and the Chanel tag still intact. It also has a long gold chained strap that is not pictured (this particular day I decided to use it as a clutch). 

I'll make sure to post my whole collection in the near future!

Essie

I actually really really like this color...especially on my toes! The polish itself went on super smooth and dried very quickly.  I was pleasantly surprised that it lasted a full week without chipping (seriously they are chipped after about 2 days, even after using the *vinegar trick*)! It's a keeper!

Yesterday the bf and I decided to take a trip over to Coronado. Although we are both San Diego natives, we couldn't remember the last time we had ever gone there. It's a definite must-see for any tourist! We walked around, went into all the little boutique shops, bought candy, ate lunch, and visited the Hotel Del Coronado. It was so hot outside, but beautiful nonetheless!
